THE UNIQUE FOOD FROM KOREA

All foreigners in Korea have a certain degree in culinary honor in Korea, and all the people I know can find many things about the food they like. An example is the barbecue dishes such as galbi (갈비) and Samgyeopsal (삼겹살), and simple snacks such as kimbap (김밥) But not everyone can enjoy the strange food, and there are several dishes in Korea will almost certainly appear a little strange for a foreigner in first sight ..
San-nak-ji (산낙지)
San-nak-ji (산낙지) is one of the most exciting food in traditional Korean. Octopus is still a baby wrapped in, and then eaten raw. They will cut the dangly bits, discard the head, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve on plates. Although they are dead, some of which THERE ARE STILL MOVING.

Gaebul (개불)

Gaebul (개불) is a large pink sea worms, and also in raw food. Some foreigners unfortunately see the name of a very important part of male anatomy, followed by fish word to describe this food.

Both offer a sense of subtle, fresh from the sea that does not taste too fishy, it's not dominant like what you Think if they dip into, like oil that Korea has a very strong flavor and chili sauce.

Jokbal (족발)

Jokbal (족발) is a braised pig feet and in asinkan 'Many cultural tourists to enjoy this food. Like the explorers, but jokbal (족발) is the Korean food that is cooked with scallions, ginger garlic, and rice wine. Dip pork fat bits in ssamjang (쌈장), perhaps wrapped in sangchu (상추), and enjoy.

It is true that some Korean people think the food is very strange Not all Koreans who want to join me for chang GOP. (곱창: small grilled intestine) and raw organs are presented together as banchan (반찬: usually on the side of the plate). can not always find volunteers to participate in the eating gaebul (개불) and san-nak-ji (산낙지).

But overall, the majority of Korean people instead of seeing these traditional foods as a way of life, and not strange at all. And if you can adopt the mentality during your stay in Korea, the door will open amazing culinary.
